Mission TripleCord Ministries is a protestant, evangelical non-denominational faith mission whose purpose is to bring the faith, hope, and love of God to all people through the ministry of education – whether in the church, outside the church, locally, or around the world. This is primarily accomplished through the global establishment of English schools that incorporate the International School of English DVD Course and the International Community School of Bangkok, Thailand. Return To Top History Gary and Kathyrn Opfer, founders and co-directors of TripleCord began in overseas missions in 1987. After serving in many European countries and Russia in Christian school education and music and arts evangelism, TripleCord was founded in September, 1994 and registered as a 501(c)(3) religious, nonprofit, charitable organization in the United States of America. A major ministry focus of TripleCord was in former Yugoslavia – the countries of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo – and Albania. After years of humanitarian aid, relief and development, church planting, Christian camp ministry, child and youth evangelism, and English instruction, the Opfers returned to the States to engage in a ‘vision of multiplication’. What was originally developed and established as a School of English overseas could now be effectively implemented and produced to be a blessing to the nations. The International School of English was born -- quality cross-cultural instruction in the English language for ELLs (English Language Learners) in a DVD format. With the project completed in May, 2010, the final product was ready for reproduction and distribution globally in June, 2010. Return To Top Statement of Faith We believe the Bible to be the fully inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God; the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man and the divine final authority for all Christian faith and life. We believe there is one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that through Adam's sin all people inherit a sinful nature and are in themselves totally depraved and unable to remedy their lost condition. We believe that salvation is the gift of God, purchased by Christ's death on the cross and received through personal repentance and faith apart from works. We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ; convicts the world of sin; regenerates and indwells each believer; baptizes into the body of Christ; desires to fill every believer; seals each believer unto the day of redemption; empowers for service, and imparts spiritual gifts to each believer as He wills for the edification of the church. We believe that the church is a company of all true believers in Jesus Christ; that the church is God's instrument in this present age for preaching the good news of salvation by faith in Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers unto eternal life and of unbelievers unto everlasting punishment. Return To Top |
