“When he [Jesus] saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Mt. 9:36-38

Teaching Today’s Church and Reaching Tomorrow’s requires workers. It’s impossible to reach and teach people without personnel. God’s plan calls for workers. He’s looking for committed, compassionate, loving, humble, unselfish, sacrificing, persevering, obedient, faithful workers. Is this You?

The heart of God is for His people to work to bring other people to salvation and maturity in Christ. Fulfilling Christ’s commission to “disciple all nations” requires that God’s people put their hand to the plow and work. And yes, “work” is a four letter word. There’s no way to get around it. God asks us to put aside our personal agendas and work with His agenda in mind.

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” Col. 3:1, 2

It is “God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Tim. 2:3b, 4 As His ambassadors, we serve as His hands, feet, and mouthpiece to proclaim His love, truth and saving power to a world in desperate need.

How can you help meet this need? Consider going as one of His workers into His harvest field. Be an answer to the prayers of many and in obedience to His call, “Go”!

• Prayer Journeys (short-term)

TCM accepts viable, functioning prayer ministry teams from local churches who desire to work by praying and interceding for specific country needs. In general, TCM requests that a prayer ministry team spend several months in prayer and intercession for the country in which their prayer journey will take place prior to arriving on the field. This and the on location prayer ministry should be done in consultation with the TCM field director. Upon completion of the prayer journey, TCM requests continued prayer and intercession back home for the country in which the team ministered for an unspecified period of time.

TCM ministers to the widows and their children (the fatherless) through practical life-changing "Arise and Shine" Seminars, small group Bible studies, personal counseling, and humanitarian aid assistance. Mature women are needed to provide pastoral care--a ministry of love and compassion--to these hurting widows and their families on a continuing basis. If you are one that practices hospitality and can rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep, your giftings may be particularly suited to this unique ministry. (Romans 12:13a, 15)

• Teachers--English and music (short and long-term)

There are opportunities for those qualified to teach English to teach classes for students ranging from elementary school to adults. Facilities and English curriculum are available. Short-term assignments include summer sessions and normal school year terms of up to eight months. Long-term assignments are for a minimum two year time period.

Opportunities to provide instruction in music also follows the same short and long-term schedule as that of teaching English. Individual and small classes of like instruction is offered for rhythm (acoustic) guitar, keyboard, drums, and percussion. Facilities are available but in most cases instruments and teaching materials will need to be procured prior to on location arrival.

• School Staff (short and long term)

The educational program needs competent staff to assist in the ongoing needs of the school year operation. Needs are generally in areas of maintenance, custodial, security, secretarial and transportation. Assignments may be combined as appropriate. This assignment is a eight month minimum commitment. Long-term assignments are considered for a time frame of two years or longer.
